A brief guide to identify right career path.
“The whole purpose of education is turn mirror into windows”.
by Sydney j harris.
The more exposure you have to the world, the better you
understand yourself. This especially applies in your decisions as,
before finding a desirable career and to earn a skill set and then
using that knowledge to earn a living is not as complex as you think.
We helped many students and learners across the globe and,
eventually, their perception helped us to showcase what we have
learned from them. Here are a few methods that have been
implemented by various people.
Promising methods can be used to find the right career path.
1.Find passion in whatever you do
In a world full of “I want to follow my passion”, the question arises,
how do you know what your passion is? The fact, is, the education
system doesn’t give you enough time to dig for your passion. So
simply, whatever you do, do it passionately. Eventually, you will find
out what your mind wants. There is a term in boxing “shoeshine” in
which a boxer continuously lands punches just to increase his
chances of getting points. Similarly this method can be used to find
a career in which we want to be steady.
2.Idolising, can be turn into commitment
This is an inevitable path. We tend to be fascinated by someone’s
work and tend to learn from their work and eventually do what they
do. Every author, scientist, entrepreneur idolizes someone in their
field. Whatever you want to become, look for people that do the
same work. Suppose you want to be a content writer, follow the
works of other writers, study their work to find your comfortable
niche.
3.Internet is for overview
Before we get to know which institution is best for us, we are
bombarded with a number of suggestions regarding career
opportunities. There are numerous subjects to learn and students
are surrounded with highlighted subjects only, before committing to
any field, we can use one of the greatest inventions of mankind, the
“internet”. The Internet can help you to obtain a deep insight into the
stream you want to focus on. Definitely, you will get to know the
pros and cons. Whatever career your friends and family suggest,
you do deep research on that, as you know half knowledge is also a
blunder.
4.The hedgehog principle
This principle is an average of three key thoughts. 1. What are good
at 2. What you love 3. Who pays well?
So, if we consider this principle and human evolution, the human
mind is capable of many things due to our vast horizon of thinking.
So finding out what you do best is like job half done for your career.
Anything can be boring if we do it again and again, but we still love
to do a few things that we can go back to.
5.The dopamine factor
One thing I get to know about work culture is that career satisfaction
doesn’t come from what you do, it comes from what you get while
doing it. So whomsoever you are, whether a student or a working
professional, if you are getting a stimulus of achievement in your
work or in learning, then only you can commit to it.
You can validate these methods on your own. If it benefits you, tell
