Study Hacks Based on Education System
I was an ordinary person who studied hard
by richard Feynman
Students are meant to learn and understand the concept of the world,
without the proper blueprint to begin our study and understand the
concept of the world one is lacking the base of learning. Begin a student,
one is expected to be a good learner, but everyone has their own ability
to understand and people often compare intelligence with knowledge,
people can hold a PhD degree and still behave like an idiot.
Being in the ed-tech industry, Think-Lance frequently encounters students
who use various learning strategies. Everyone can use the study’s
procedures, although the outcomes may vary. We’ve narrowed down the
tools that students can use to their advantage.
Below are the methods you can use for your advantage.
1. The Feynman technique
Being student, we are bound to learn, read and remember the large
concepts in coursebooks.
So according to physicist Dr. Richard Feynman he had given a method to
remember many large concepts. According to him, explaining to others
whatever you have learned is the best way to understand and remember.
If you are able to explain things to others without any difficulty, then you
will not forget the concept.
2. Using examples
One thing you will always notice that textbooks our loaded with
examples; after every topic we have many examples to solve. Whatever
the subject is focus more on examples, eventually you will have a better
understanding and after few intervals go back and re-read the topic.
Whatever new concepts we have it’s just by products of previous
examples.
3. Group study
The most controversial method among all the techniques. Your parents
might be against it, but it’s one the most helpful method. The reason why
we are in the classroom is because it’s collection of different mindset. A
student with expertise in one subject can help others and so others can
help as well based on different subject. The quickest way for progression
is to work collectively.
The sub technique follows as:
- collaborative learning in which first method (TFT) can be applicable.
- Problem based learning in which using examples method is applicable.
- Team based learning, the pace of others members will enhance the learning speed.
4. Breaks are necessary
The most useful technique we consider is pomodoro technique. In this
you work on a task for 25 minutes and then take 5 minutes break and
start again. Repeat this process for three times and then take 30 minutes
break and start again.
Alarm is advisable. Every student want to achieve a flow but our mind
gets drained, to tackle this problem. Francesco cirillio have come up
with these method and it stand out to be useful as well.
5. Self reflection
Teaching institutes all over the world have come up with assessments,
practicals, tests , prelims. The test are just self reflection of yourself.
Students often complain who made this exam system but self reflection
is necessary as you will get to know your own capabilities. Design self
assessments for yourself, a method solely for you to know yourself,
knowing your strengths and weaknesses is sensible thing
Utilise these techniques in your study routine and if have your own
methods feel free to share with us, as it might help others as well. And if
these blogs are helping you then share your opinion with us will be glad to
know your thoughts.
